JAKARTA, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- A man carrying bombs attacked a priest in a church in North Sumatra of western Indonesia on Sunday, leaving four people injured, a local TV reported.
The bomber ran toward the priest who was giving sermon with his backpack spreading fire, but two Christian followers stopped the bomber.
"The bombs in his bag failed to be detonated, but the man took his knife and attacked the priest," Bonar Ginting who attended the service told iNews TV.
The attack took place in Santa Yosep church in Medan, the provincial capital of North Sumatra.
