FARAH, Afghanistan, May 16 (Xinhua) -- Four Afghan police died following an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack in the country's western province of Farah on Monday, the provincial government spokesman said.
"Four police personnel martyred following an IED attack in Lash-wa-Juwayn district. The unit was on routine patrol when their vehicle touched off the IED planted recently by the militants along a main road in the district bordering Iran," Mohammad Nasir Mehri told Xinhua.
