ISLAMABAD — The Pakistani military said Wednesday it shot down an Indian spy drone on its side of the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir.
The incident came days after a meeting between the Indian and Pakistani Prime Ministers in Russia last week signaling a new thaw in the ties between the two nuclear-armed rivals.

However, the Indian Army and Air Force both denied any of their drones were shot down or crashed, according to a Press Trust of India report.
