The J-10B, the upgraded variant of the J-10 fighter designed by Chengdu Aircraft Industry Corporation, has been produced in sufficient numbers to equip a fighter regiment of the People's Liberation Army Air Force, according to China's Global Times.
A photo on a Chinese military website showed the newest J-10B has 120 as its fuselage number. Photos of J-10Bs with the numbers 101, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, 110, 120 and 201 have also been posted on the internet. Global Times said at least 20 J-10B fighters have been produced, enough for the PLAAF to equip a fighter regiment.
