Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel Russel is accompanying Secretary Kerry to Seoul, Beijing, and Jakarta, February 13–18, to meet with senior government officials and address a range of bilateral, regional, and global issues.
February 18–19, Assistant Secretary Russel will travel to Sydney and Canberra, Australia, where he will meet with Australian Government officials to discuss bilateral, regional, and global opportunities for enhanced cooperation with Australia.
Assistant Secretary Russel will visit New Zealand, February 20–21, where he will meet with senior government officials in Auckland and Wellington, and lead the 4th U.S. delegation to the U.S.–New Zealand Strategic Dialogue.
Assistant Secretary Russel will return to Washington on February 21.
