PZL-Świdnik’s Sokols bring relief to ‘Pablo’ typhoon victims


Sokol helicopters produced by PZL-Świdnik, an AgustaWestland company, in service with the Philippine Air Force, are playing an important role in the rescue and recovery operation on the island of Mindanao in the southern Philippines, after super typhoon Pablo hit the country.

The Sokol helicopters recently delivered to the Philippine Air Force and flown by pilots trained by PZL-Świdnik employees are participating in rescue missions across the disaster area as well as performing transport missions for casualties, paramedics and emergency supplies of water and food.

- We were sad to learn about typhoon Pablo which has hit the Philippines and we are shocked at the damage and loss of life it has caused.
