News Story: Frigate INS Teg Goes to India

Indian frigate INS Teg built by Yantar Shipyard (Kaliningrad) will leave Russia on May 6 heading for homebase in Mumbai, the yard's press service told Central Navy Portal

Already commissioned into Indian Navy, Project 11356 frigate INS Teg F45 (lead ship of the second trio) left the shipyard's quay on May 2 and moved for Baltiysk. 

In the Baltic Fleet (BF) main base, the frigate will be prepared for a long-range cruise to Mumbai naval base. Other Project 11356 frigates (F40 Talwar, F41 Trishul, and F42 Tabar) are also based there along with 15-th Frigate Group of Western Naval Command.
