Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, today to attend the 2nd Putrajaya Forum and the 13th Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA 12).
The theme of the Putrajaya Forum, held from 17 to 19 Apr 2012, is "Enhancing Multilateralism for Regional Defence and Security".
It is organised by the Malaysian Institute of Defence and Security (MIDAS) and brings together Defence Ministers, officials and academics to discuss defence and security issues.
Dr Ng participated in the first plenary session titled "Emerging Powers Extension Area of Interest: Cooperation and Challenges" alongside United Kingdom's Minister for International Security Strategy, Gerald Howarth and Russian Deputy Secretary, Security Council, Evgeny V. Lukyanov.
