Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Herndon, Va., was awarded on Jan. 8 a $7,563,624 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-fixed fee contract (N63394-10-C-1201) for Aegis engineering and technical services.
This procurement will furnish engineering, technical, computer programming, materials management, and specified logistics services necessary to support Aegis Combat System, major weapon systems programs, test and evaluation and post event analysis.
Work will be performed in Port Hueneme, Calif. (65 percent); San Diego, Calif. (15 percent); Dahlgren, Va. (10 percent); and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (10 percent).
Work is expected to be completed by July 2012. This contract includes purchases from the governments of Australia (6 percent), Japan (6 percent), and Spain (6 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program.
Contract funds in the amount of $7,563,624 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity.
