Editorial: Military nonprofit leader outlines 4 key take-aways from Libya for Asian powers

In late-August, Michael M. Dunn, President/CEO of the Arlington-based Air Force Association (AFA), publicly questioned the execution of the NATO air campaign in Libya. While he offered no direct critique, his open letter to the more than 100,000 AFA members clearly suggested that NATO executed Operation Unified Protector with insufficient air power.

Dunn recently co-authored a piece for Gulf News, entitled “Complex Play of Indo-US Relations,” on Libya's potential impact on U.S. - Indian strategic relations. However, that commentary was limited to one particular country (and likely not the one most impacted) rather than the broader Asia-Pacific region.
