No MiG-29K for China

At the current “Aero India 2011” show, a Russian defence industry official has rejected speculation that China would be allowed to acquire the Mig-29K for it’s soon to be operational Ex-Russian Aircraft Carrier.
"This is not an option for China's aircraft carrier program," the Russian defense industry official said, citing unresolved differences with China over intellectual property in the Su-27/J-11B fighter scandal.

Russia accused China of stalling the Su-27 design in 2009 to produce their indigenous J-11B fighter.

Tensions between China and India along their shared northern border also could be contributing to Russia's reluctance to sell the MiG-29K to China.
