Davao Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, son of President Rodrigo Duterte, ordered the killing of Cebuano businessman Richard King in 2014 over woman rivalry as claimed by former member of Davao Death Squad (DDS) on Thursday, September 15 on a Senate hearing session.
Edgar Matobato of DDS, said they were ordered by Paolo, then Davao vice mayor, to kill King because they were “rivals” over a woman.
Earlier, Matobato testified that they executed criminals under the orders of Mayor-then-President Duterte himself.
