NEW DELHI, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday met India's main opposition Congress party's leader Sonia Gandhi at the president's official residence - Rashtrapati Bhawan - in Delhi.
Gandhi lauded Hasina's zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism and told her that such menaces must be dealt with an iron fist, senior sources said.
Gandhi's son Rahul, the scion of Nehru-Gandhi family and the second-in-command of the Congress party, and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also made a courtesy call to the visiting Bangladesh prime minister at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
