News Story: Afghan intelligence detains would-be suicide bomber in southern province

KABUL, March 16 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan intelligence agency had captured a would-be suicide bomber in the restive southern province of Helmand, the National Directorate for Security (NDS) said on Thursday.

"A would-be suicide bomber named Sayyed Nabi has been detained after personnel of NDS carried out a special operation in surrounding area of provincial capital Lashkar Gah recently," the intelligence agency confirmed in a statement, without revealing the exact date of the raid.
