NEW DELHI, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will go to Myanmar next week, a visit aimed at bolstering bilateral ties with the new government of the National League for Democracy.
The Indian External Affairs Ministry has said that the visit of the minister on August 22, who will be accompanied by Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar and other senior officials, reaffirms New Delhi's commitment to heightened partnership with Myanmar in areas accorded priority by the new government.
