Qi Jianguo, deputy chief of general staff of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), held a meeting with Soe Win, the visiting deputy commander-in-chief of the Myanmar Armed Forces and commander of the Myanmar Army，in Beijing on the morning of November 16, 2012.
Qi Jianguo and his Myanmar guest had in-depth exchange of views on regional security situation, the China-Myanmar relations, the military-to-military relations between the two countries and other issues of common concern, with significant consensus being achieved.
