The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) participated in the annual Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) land exercise code-named Suman Warrior, from 6 to 15 September 2011. About 50 personnel from the SAF participated in the exercise, along with 200 personnel from Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. This year's exercise, the 22nd in the series, is hosted by the United Kingdom and took place in York, North Yorkshire.
