At least 24 civilians were killed in a suicide bombing in PD3 in Kabul city early Monday, the Minsitry of Interior (MoI) confirmed in a statement.
In addition to those killed, over 40 others were wounded.
The blast took place at about 6:45am local time after a suicide car bomber targeted a bus carrying employees of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.
Three vehicles and 15 shops were also damaged in the attack.
