Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – The self-claimed Islamic State (IS) has issued a threat against the counter-terrorism division of the Royal Malaysia Police, especially Ayob Khan, head of the division, according to the New Straits Times.
According to Malaysian authorities, IS militants have called on their comrades in Malaysia to eliminate Ayob, who IS views as its main threat in Southeast Asia.
Intelligence sources revealed that such a direct threat, sent by Indonesian militants who pledged allegiance to IS, is highly dangerous.
