KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Up to 10 militants including a group commander have been confirmed dead after Afghan security forces aircrafts targeted a Taliban hideout in Qala-e-Zal district of the northern Kunduz province early Thursday, district governor Mahboubullah Sayedi said.
The government forces aircrafts, according to the official, targeted Taliban hideout in Chargul Tapa locality Thursday morning, killing 10 insurgent including Taliban group commander Qari Nematullah on the spot and injuring several others.
