ISLAMABAD, April 27 (Xinhua) -- At least seven suspected militants were killed when U.S. pilotless aircraft launched missile strikes in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of North Waziristan on Thursday, local Urdu media reported.
Aaj News said that the U.S. drones fired two missiles to pound two hideouts of the suspected militants in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, a semi-autonomous tribal area located along Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Quoting tribal sources, the report added that both the hideouts were completely destroyed in the attack that took place at about 2 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
