VIENTIANE, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Laos has opened its first official data center in capital Vientiane, aiming to provide modern information systems and secure storage solutions in the country.
The newly opened data center, which will be known as the Lao Energy Efficient Data Center, is a facility to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems in Laos, Minister of Science and Technology Boviengkham Vongdara was quoted by local Vientiane Times on Wednesday as saying.
