President Rodrigo Duterte has called on Friday night the United States President-elect Donald Trump and discussed the Philippines’ war on illegal drugs. Duterte has told reporters the three important matters the you need to know as tackled during the conservation:
1. Trump supports Duterte’s anti-drug campaign.
“I could sense a good rapport, an animated President-elect Trump. And he was wishing me success in my campaign against the drug problem,” Mr. Duterte said.
The Philippine leader added that Trump told him the government is doing it as a sovereign nation, the right way, and that the latter understood the way “we are handling it”.
