News Story: CIA planning to kill me, Duterte claim

President Rodrigo Duterte said the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) wants him dead.

This was revealed in a speech delivered before the Filipino community in Hanoi, Vietnam on Wednesday evening.

“That’s the situation. They say, the CIA is planning to kill me,” Duterte said.

Saying that he still could not believe that he was the President, Duterte jokingly asked the CIA to allow him first to realize that he was the top government official in the country.
