Phnom Penh (VNA) – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping witnessed the signing of 31 bilateral agreements in Phnom Penh on October 13.
The pacts include agreements, letters of intent and memorandums of understanding. The two sides formed partnerships concerning China's Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. They secured deals on avoiding double taxation, tariff-free status on 72 percent of trade items, and eliminated interest payment for financial aid.
Agreements on joint projects in industry, infrastructure, media, and maritime business and rice trade were secured.
