News Story: 11 militants killed in NW Pakistan army operation

ISLAMABAD, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- At least 11 militants were killed and four others injured when Pakistani army launched aerial and ground operation in the country's northwest tribal area of Khyber Agency on Thursday, officials said.

Inter-Services Public Relations, the mouthpiece of Pakistani army, said in a statement that the troops also pounded eight militants' hideouts in precision air strikes and synchronised ground operation in Babar Kachkol, Naray Nao, and Tor Sapar areas of Rajgal region of Khyber Agency, a semi-autonomous tribal area along Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
