News Story: Singapore bans newspaper affiliated to ISIS

SINGAPORE, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Singapore government has banned "Al Fatihin", a newsletter published by a media agency affiliated to terror group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), announced the Ministry for Communications and Information (MCI) in a statement on Friday.

MCI said that ISIS poses a serious threat to the security of Singapore, and that the affiliated newsletter was one way the terror group is spreading extremism in Southeast Asia.
