KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Malaysian police said Monday that an earlier explosion injured at least eight was the first such attack related to the Islamic State (IS) in the country.
Two suspects were arrested, said National police chief Khalid Abu Bakar, adding that they had received instructions from a Malaysian IS member in Syria to attack entertainment outlets in the country.
They also targeted the country's senior leaders, police and judges, Khalid said.
