BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) -- China on Monday urged Japan to take other countries' security concerns into account, as the sweeping upper house election victory of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP)-led bloc paves way to revision of Japan's pacifist constitution.
The election was Japan's domestic affair, however, in light of the "serious crimes" Japan committed against the Asian people in history, it is fully understandable that other Asian countries including China and the international community are highly concerned with Japan's tendency in military and security policies, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang at the daily press briefing.
