VIENTIANE, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday that China supports the development of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) with practical actions, calling on the ARF to further promote regional dialogue and cooperation.
Wang made the remakes when attending the 23th ARF Foreign Ministers' Meeting held in the Lao capital Vientiane.
He said China always attaches the great importance to the role of the ARF and actively participates in the dialogue and cooperation under the ARF framework.
According to Wang, China has operated more than 40 cooperation projects since the founding of the ARF. The projects operated by China each year accounted for one third of the total sum of the ARF projects, which is ranked the top among all ARF members.
