KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Three Indonesian fishermen were abducted by gunmen off the Malaysian waters on the North Borneo state of Sabah, police said Sunday.
Five gunmen in a speedboat intercepted a Malaysian-registered fishing trawler late Saturday, said Sabah police chief Abdul Rashid Harun.
State news agency Bernama quoted Harun reporting that three Indonesia fishermen were kidnapped out of the seven on board the trawler.
