Vietnamese Minister of Public Security To Lam and Malaysian Minister of Home Affairs Ahmad Zahid Hamidi agreed to strengthen anti-crime cooperation during their talks in Kuala Lumpur on June 7.
The talks were part of the Vietnamese minister’s official visit to Malaysia.
Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also a Deputy Prime Minister, expressed his delight at the strides seen in the Southeast Asian nations’ strategic partnership, and in the two ministries’ relations.
Echoing the view, Minister To Lam highlighted the development of bilateral cooperation in all spheres, especially since the two Governments issued a joint statement on the strategic partnership framework – a new momentum for all-round cooperation with politics and security among the pillars.
