News Story: 4 policemen gunned down in SW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, June 28 (Xinhua) -- At least four policemen were killed in two separate incidents of firing in Pakistan's southwest Quetta city on Tuesday night, local Urdu media reported.

Aaj TV said that two policemen were killed and a passerby injured when some unknown gunmen opened firing on a vehicle of Senior House Officer (S.H.O) police in Sariab Raod area of Quetta, the capital city of the country's southwest Balochistan province.

The S.H.O escaped unhurt in the incident, but his driver and bodyguard got killed in the gun attack.

In a separate attack in Shalkot area of the city, two policemen were killed when some unknown gunmen attacked their patrolling vehicle.
