SINGAPORE, March 22 (Xinhua) -- The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) on Tuesday mounted its first multi-sector exercise "Exercise Cyber Star", which marks its first year of operations on April 1, said CSA in a press release on Tuesday.
Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean on Tuesday visited "Exercise Cyber Star", where he observed and interacted with exercise participants. Teo was accompanied by Minister for Communications and Information and Minister-in-Charge of Cyber Security Yaacob Ibrahim.
"Exercise Cyber Star" comprises a series of scenario planning sessions, workshops and table-top discussions focusing on cyber incident management processes. The exercise scenario covered different types of cyber-attacks including web defacement, wide-spread data exfiltration malware infections, large-scale DDoS attacks and cyber-physical attack.
