BEIJING, March 17 (Xinhua) -- China is willing to work with Indonesia to improve anti-terrorism cooperation to safeguard security and stability in the two countries and the region, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Thursday.
Spokesperson Lu Kang made the remarks in response to the recent report that Indonesian security forces have killed two terrorists from China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
"We have noticed relevant report and now we are verifying the situation," Lu said, noting that China and Indonesia understand and support each other on anti-terrorism issues.
