NEW DELHI, March 27 (Xinhua) -- India will host a defence expo in the western state of Goa this week, where over 1,000 companies from 47 countries will be taking part.
Indian Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar is to inaugurate the four-day Defexpo Monday, which will be held at a place called Naqueri-Betul in southern Goa, close to the coast.
The state-owned Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will display state-of-the-art military systems and technologies at the expo.
