News Report: BRICS claim world community should aim at organizers of sea piracy

The BRICS countries, or Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa feel that to end growth in piracy, the world community should aim at the organizers of the criminal activities, rather than at the attackers.

This came in a statement for journalists in New Delhi by the Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev.

He was speaking following a meeting of high-ranking BRICS security officials.

The parties to the talks took up the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, ways to counter international terrorism and fighting piracy.
