News Story: DF-25 missile first shown on Chinese television

DF-25, the medium-range ballistic missile developed by the People's Liberation Army, was first shown in Military Documentary, a television series produced by state-run China Central Television, reports our sister newspaper, Want Daily.

With a range of 3,200 kilometers, the DF-25 ballistic missile is able to hit most targets in the Asia-Pacific region, including the US military base located in Guam. Launched from a wheeled 10X10 vehicle, the DF-25 can carry up to three conventional or nuclear warheads to attack both strategic and tactical targets. Reports from MissileThreat.com, a military website based in the United States stated that DF-25 is more likely to be used against neighboring countries of China including India and Russia. It may also be deployed against US aircraft carriers during conflicts over the East or South China Sea.
