The Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Brigadier-General (BG) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Yussof bin Haji Abd Rahman was conferred Singapore's prestigious military award, the Pingat Jasa Gemilang (Tentera) or the Meritorious Service Medal (Military), by Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen at an investiture at the Ministry of Defence this morning.
The medal was awarded to BG Dato Yussof in recognition of his contributions to deepening the relations between the RBLF and the Singapore Army. Under BG Dato Yussof’s leadership, the depth and scope of bilateral interactions and cooperation between the two Armies have grown from strength to strength.
