KIEV, Ukraine, March 20 (UPI) -- The Indian air force has taken delivery of a third batch of five upgraded Antonov An-32 transport aircraft.
The planes were modernized in Ukraine under the auspices of the Ukrainian state-owned defense arms export agency Ukrspetsexport.
Under the terms of a 2009 contract between the Indian air force and Ukrspetsexport, the agency is overseeing the modernization of 40 Antonov An-32 aircraft in Ukraine and another 65 at the air force base in Kanpur, Flight International reported.
