RIMBA, Saturday, 17 December 2011 - In celebrating those who saves lives using Sikorsky products, Sikorsky “Legacy of Heroes” is currently paying a trip to Brunei Darussalam as part of its worldwide tour to countries that are recognised as first responders to natural disasters and other humanitarian emergencies around the globe.
In the appreciation towards Brunei Darussalam’s active role in HADR, Sikorsky “Legacy of Heroes” presented S-70i Awards to Royal Brunei Technical Service (RBTS), Centre of Science and Technology Research and Development (CSTRAD) and TUDB in showing their recognition to their contribution.
The award presentation took place at the Rimba Air Force Base presented by Linda Scott, the representative from Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. Presence as the Guest of Honour during the event was Col (U) Ali Sabar, Deputy Commander of TUDB. After the award presentation, the attendees of the event were given the opportunity to join the ride on demo flights which were conducted using S-92.
