Singapore: Continued Relevance and Value - 21 Years of Exercise Wallaby

The completion of this year's Exercise (Ex) Wallaby marks the 21st time our Army has conducted Ex Wallaby. The longevity of this exercise is testament to its continued relevance and value to our Army.

Every year, thousands of our soldiers descend upon Shoalwater Bay in Australia where they undergo realistic training and challenging conditions in an expanse four times larger than Singapore. This year, about 4,500 soldiers trained in Shoalwater Bay over three frames from September to November, with some arriving as early as August.
