The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil will pay a State Visit to the Republic of Korea on July 24-27, 2011 at the invitation of President Lee Myung-bak and to Mongolia on July 27-30, 2011 at the invitation of President Elbegdorj.
It will be recollected that President Elbegdorj had paid a State Visit to India in September 2009, while President Lee Myung-bak had visited India in January 2010 as Chief Guest for our Republic Day celebrations.
The Republic of Korea and Mongolia are two important partners of India in North East Asia. The State Visits of the President of India aim at accelerating India’s cooperation with these two countries.
