The 8th South Korean-Chinese military logistics cooperation discussion is ongoing between Chair of the Logistics Management Department of the Defense Ministry Na Sang-wook and his Chinese counterpart, Chief of the General Logistics Department of the Chinese Defense Ministry from June 2 to 6.
At this meeting, Na will discuss signing a memorandum of understanding on collaborating in disaster relief operations that was first discussed by the defense ministers of the two countries during the defense ministerial talks in July 2011.
In addition to discussing the MOU, Na and his party are scheduled to visit various Chinese military units to better understand China’s military logistics system.
