News Story: Pakistan rejects Indian claim of mutilation of soldiers' bodies

ISLAMABAD, May 1 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan military on Monday rejected the Indian army's "false" claim that Pakistani forces mutilated bodies of two Indian soldiers.

"Pakistan army did not commit any ceasefire violation on line of control or a BAT (border action team) action in Buttal sector as alleged by India," said a statement by the Pakistan army spokesman.

Indian officials have alleged that two soldiers were killed and "mutilated" in Kashmir in "unprovoked firing" by Pakistani forces at Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control Monday morning. However, the Pakistan army quickly denies the Indian military assertions.

The "Indian blame of mutilating Indian soldiers' bodies is also false," the statement said, adding that the Pakistan army is a highly professional force and shall never disrespect a soldier even an Indian soldier.
