News Story: Japan 'overreacting,' 'fearmongering' over N. Korea's missile launch - S. Korean media

SEOUL -- South Korean media said Japan was "overreacting" after some railway companies including Tokyo Metro Co. temporarily suspended operations on April 29 after it was announced that North Korea had launched missiles.

Yonhap News Agency criticized the railway operators' response to Pyongyang's missile launch attempt, saying that the companies suspended services with no regard to the inconvenience they would cause to their customers, even though the launch failed and missiles fell within North Korea's borders, and that people in Japan were frustrated with their decision. The news organization also pointed out that the Japanese government was behind the decision to suspend trains.
